HBO was recognized with 22 awards at the 39th edition of the Telly Awards, which recognize excellence in video and television in different screen formats. To celebrate, a special collection including the first episode of the award-winning season of each of the five winning series will be available on HBO GO for subscribers in Latin America until June 4.
The Argentine production THE BRONZE GARDEN was the most recognized series with three Gold Tellys, the highest recognition that was presented for the first time this year for Writing, Directing and Videography / Cinematography, in addition to a Silver Telly for Aerial Cinematography and one of Bronze by Edition.
PSI and THE SECRET LIFE OF COUPLES, both produced in Brazil, also obtained a Gold Telly for Drama and Direction, respectively, plus six Silver and four Bronze as a whole, in categories such as Art Direction, Editing, Drama and Writing.
The Brazilian series THE HYPNOTIST was recognized with four Bronze Telly Awards for Editing, Videography / Cinematography, Art Direction and Writing, while CHUMEL WITH CHUMEL TORRES, a Mexican production and the first late night show in the region, won the Silver Telly for Political Commentary.
