Miami, November 22nd, 2011- HBO Latin America announced the premier of the Prófugos series finale this Sunday, November 27th. Action, suspense and unexpected outcomes shake up the plot of the final episode of Prófugos®. All of the show’s viewers will be struck by the plot twists that will occur during the final 45 minutes of the series.
After assassinating Óscar Salamanca (Francisco Reyes), Mario Moreno (Luis Gnecco) must face the persecution of his former allies. The character that eventually became the right hand of Kika Ferragut (Claudia Di Girólamo) will finally get his punishment, something that all the ghosts of his past have been waiting for after having been victims of his torments.
On the other hand, the conspiracy unfolding within the police, whose leader is Undersecretary Adriana Bascuñán (Paulina Urrutia), is on the verge of being discovered, after Alvaro Parraguez (Benjamín Vicuña) and Attorney General Ximena Carbonell’s (Aline Küppenheim) plan, which aims to expose her to public opinion and clean the image of the infiltrated police force that finds itself immersed in the dark underworld of drug trafficking. However, the plan does not go as planned and a string of murders, deceptions and misunderstandings will bring an unexpected twist to the story.
The betrayal will change the lives of the characters during this final chapter. Quijada, the crime boss of the European mafia, who had previously kidnapped Laura Ferragut (Blanca Levin), has coordinated everything so that the Ferragut Cartel can escape from the country, end the police persecution and stop being fugitives. That is, until Vicente Ferragut’s (Néstor Cantillana) memories lead him to suspect that the fugitives have been deceived and discover the truth behind the operations.
The final chapter of Prófugos is, without a doubt, one of the most exciting ones as it will determine the fate of its protagonists-both heroes and villains- that were a part of this great story. The final episode will surprise its viewers up until the final minute.
