The series OS AUSENTES, the first Brazilian series from Max Originals, has just premiered on HBO Max. The production presents the work of the “Ausentes” agency, which specializes in investigating cases of missing persons in São Paulo. Throughout the episodes, we follow different stories of families in search of answers regarding the disappearance of their loved ones. Actress Maria Flor plays Maria Júlia, a journalist who, upon fleeing Buenos Aires after the mysterious disappearance of her father, goes to work at the agency alongside Raul Fagnani (Erom Cordeiro), a former police chief who decides to open Ausentes after the disappearance of his daughter Sofia.
