Miami, FL, September 14th, 2012 - HBO Latin America announced that its successful original production, Prófugos (Fugitives), has been nominated to compete for an award for Best International TV Series at the Geneva International Film Festival.

Prófugos is a dramatic series filmed entirely in Chile, centering around a failed drug trafficking operation that triggers a frantic pursuit. With both the mafia and law enforcement in search of the culprits, they desperately flee across the Chilean countryside. With this series, which mixes drama and action, HBO made an impact on its audience with content of impeccable quality produced regionally. The series is currently filming its second season.
